In a full-static display, the aircraft duo is set to gather the attention of thousands of spectators at one of the largest aviation shows in Europe
The Bell team is gearing up to attend the 32nd annual AERO Friedrichshafen, one of the largest aviation shows in Europe, equipped with its Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi on a full-static display in anticipation of the show’s thousands of expected attendees.
“Bell is excited to be back with two of our advanced aircraft solutions that have gained significant attention throughout the region,” said Robin Wendling, managing director of Europe, Bell. “Whether you’re a business executive looking to reduce travel time, or an adventure seeker looking to go on a weekend trip away from home, Bell has the aircraft solution for you.”
In addition to its static displays, Bell’s sales managers and customer service engineers will be onsite alongside its Authorized Partner in Germany, Rheinland Air Service GmbH (RAS), to host spectators looking to learn more about the platforms.
The aircraft duo are no strangers to the European market. Last year, Bell’s Europe-based team celebrated many significant milestones with the two platforms, including closing out the year with signed purchase agreements for three Bell 505s to Heli Transair, 24 aircraft orders for a mix of Bell 505s, Bell 407GXis, and Bell 429s in the corporate segment, surpassing the 700-flight hour milestone on the Bell 505 using blended sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and furthering its aftermarket support network through its Europe Support Center and Bell Training Academy in Valencia, Spain.
“Bell has been an active partner for our operators in region for many years, and we look forward to continuing to deepen our footprint in Europe,” added Wendling.
With over 100 Bell 505s operating throughout Europe, the platform continues to be recognized as one of the most technologically advanced platforms in its class. Combining its Safran Arrius 2R engine, dual channel FADEC, and Garmin G1000H NXi all-glass avionics suite with a moving map display, as well as the added benefit of wide panoramic windows and open cabin design, this five-seater aircraft is an ideal platform for corporate customers.
The Bell 407GXi is known for its performance and fuel efficiency, cruising effortlessly at 133 knots (246 km/h). The helicopter's advanced Garmin G1000H NXi Flight Deck improves situational awareness and reduces pilot workload by presenting critical safety information on its all-glass avionic suite. The platform is favored during various missions, including corporate transport, search and rescue, and emergency medical services.
