London, United Kingdom (July 21, 2026) - Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today during Farnborough International Airshow 2026 that it received a signed purchase agreement for an IFR-configured Bell 407GXi, marking the first time that the platform with an IFR configuration kit will be operated by a customer in the United Kingdom. The corporate operator, Glyn Jones, plans to use his new aircraft for business travel throughout the region and beyond.
“Our team is honored to celebrate this signing and expand our Bell 407GXi offerings to customers in the United Kingdom,” said Robin Wendling, managing director, Europe, Bell. “The Bell 407GXi has earned its name as a multi-mission workhorse, and we continue to see steady interest in the Bell 407GXi platform across the region.”
In addition to the aircraft order, Bell recently completed a demonstration tour with the platform in the United Kingdom, making stops at Lydd Airport, Goodwood, and High Wycombe.
“Combining its IFR capability with the platform’s latest Designer Series interior offering, the Bell 407GXi provides customers with the ultimate VIP experience to suit their business needs,” added Wendling.
Making its debut in 2025, Bell introduced its new luxury interior options for the Bell 407GXi as part of its Designer Series – a series of offerings that set new standards for Bell interiors. The Bell 407GXi allows operators to seamlessly perform in demanding environments while relying on its Garmin G1000H NXi Flight Deck, an all-glass avionic suite, as it relays critical safety information. The platform is favored during various missions, including utility, search and rescue and emergency medical services.
