Since 1948, Bell has been a trusted partner for public safety operators, providing industry leading support, aftermarket solutions and training. At this year’s Airborne Public Safety Association Conference (APSCON), Bell (Booth 1125) is showcasing Spokane County Sheriff’s Bell 505 and King County’s Sheriff’s Bell 407GXi -- two aircraft capabilities that collaborate to serve the people of the Pacific Northwest.
With customized mission equipment, precise visual systems and extensive cabin space, both the Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi serve as the ultimate mission-enhancers for airborne public safety missions.
“Bell is excited to showcase two of our commercial aircraft at this year’s APSCON 2025,” said Lane Evans, managing director, North America. “As Bell continues to see growing success in the public safety field in North America, we look forward to helping our public safety customers complete their various missions.”
In 2025, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office upgraded their law enforcement capabilities and performance to protect the public with a Bell 505 that joined their all-Bell fleet. The mission-ready cockpit, completed by Bell, is built for airborne law enforcement operations, improving real-time situational awareness with new technology.
In 2024, the King County Sheriff’s Office accepted the delivery of its Bell 407GXi configured with single-pilot IFR capability. Coupled with the platform’s advanced Garmin G1000H NXi Flight Deck, the crew benefits from increased situational awareness and reduced pilot workload during critical missions.
