Singapore (February 20, 2024) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, will showcase the Designer Series Bell 429 commercial helicopter for the first time in Southeast Asia at the Singapore Airshow 2024.

The Designer Series elevates the Bell 429 cabin experience with superior leathers specially tailored to cover seats, consoles, door accent panels and headliner. Also included are enhanced hardwood flooring and improved upholstery that provide a luxurious yet hardy interior, while metal finishes and leather accents complement refreshed color schemes, tying in every detail of the cabin.

The Bell 429 continues to be a sought-after model globally by those operating in corporate, HEMS and law enforcement segments. Law enforcement agencies and search and rescue organizations like the New South Wales Police, Canadian Coast Guard, Indonesia National Police, New York Police Department, Royal Thai Police and Swedish National Police – among others – are users of the twin-engine platform.

“We are delighted to put the Designer Series Bell 429 on display for the first time in the region at the Singapore Airshow 2024, a platform that becomes more valuable to us each year as we continue engaging with the wider aviation community,” said Sameer Rehman, managing director, Asia Pacific, Bell. “The Designer Series, by incorporating high-quality materials and workmanship, takes the passenger experience up several notches. Overall, the Bell 429 has proven to be a very versatile aircraft across various mission segments with its twin engines, IFR capability and an integrated avionics suite.

Designed for passenger mobility and healthcare emergency services, the Bell 429 has the most cabin space in the light twin helicopter market, with flat flooring and seven passenger seating. There are currently more than 450 Bell 429s operating around the world, with over 602,000 global flight hours.

Besides the Designer Series Bell 429 helicopter, the Bell booth (#A-Q01) inside the Changi Exhibition Centre, will include three 1/8 scale aircraft models led by the United States Army Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA).
