From July 15-20, Bell will be attending the Airborne Public Safety Conference (APSCON 2019) in Omaha, Nebraska. Bell is proud to sponsor this event and be a part of public safety aviation. Visit Bell at booth #139, where the Sacramento Police Department’s Bell 505 Jet Ranger X will be on display.
The Sacramento Police Department, located in Sacramento, California, works tirelessly to solve problems throughout the city and protect the community. Last year, the department added the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X to help safeguard the area.
The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X is configured specifically for law enforcement, and outfitted with skid gear, forward/aft hard points for mounting equipment, and Trakka Beam Searchlight. Strategically made with large windows for greater visibility, the aircraft helps pilots and tactical flight officers search for suspects and missing persons. The five-seat aircraft, with a cruise speed of 125 knots was designed for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
This is the Airborne Public Safety Association’s (APSA) 49th annual conference, bringing suppliers in contact with flight officers, supervisors, technicians, and aviation personnel. The non-profit organization works to promote and advance the use of aircraft in public safety through training, advocacy and educational programs.
