Bell Textron Canada has been named winner in the Physical Wellness category of the international Ragan's Workplace Wellness Awards. Bell stood out in this category for its new wellness center.
The winners were recognized at Ragan's Employee Experience & Wellness Conference in Denver on August 15. The Ragan & PR Daily awards programs recognize the best practices of top-performing campaigns, initiatives, employees, and teams in the areas of communications, public relations, marketing and employee wellness.
“Congratulations to Bell Textron Canada,” said Brendan Gannon, Senior Marketing Manager for Awards Programs at PR Daily. “Creating a healthy and supportive workplace culture is critical to the success of any organization, and Bell Textron Canada has demonstrated a true commitment to the well-being of their employees. Ragan is proud to recognize your efforts.”
Born of discussions with our employees to improve our working environment, the Human Resources team and our President made the creation of the Wellness Center possible. The Bell Textron Canada Wellness Centre was inaugurated in February 2022 in the presence of Olympic 100-metre gold medalist Bruny Surin and Bell employees.
In addition to offering a wide variety of training equipment, such as multi-stations, treadmills, weights and stationary bikes, our team offers group classes including boot camps, trail running, Pilates, meditation, cardio, Zumba and yoga. The Wellness Centre is also home to important and popular professional health services. Our employees have access to a kinesiologist offering personal training programs and follow-ups, a nutritionist, an occupational therapist, a massage therapist and medical staff. Having all these tools on site allows our employees to take a break from their daily challenges, relax, work out during their lunch break or after work and, most importantly, give them a sense of team spirit and increase employee engagement. It's proven that a healthy mind in a healthy body can change lives, reduce mental illness and improve relationships.

About Bell
