Bell Mexico’s General Manager, Luis M. Azúa, represented the company at this year’s Altitude Congress hosted in the heart of the greater Monterrey aerospace community. Altitude Congress is an aerospace and advanced manufacturing congress that serves as a catalyst for elevating the aerospace industry in México to new heights. The event drew the participation of numerous leading aerospace companies, all driven by the shared goal of igniting a passion for aerospace among students. Altitude Congress was hosted by Monterrey Aerocluster, Technológico de Monterrey Escuela de Ingeniería y Ciencias, and SAERO.
Students from Escuela Industrial y Preparatoria Técnica Álvaro Obregón, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, and Tecnológico de Monterrey were in attendance, as well as representatives from the Monterrey Aerocluster, Aerospace Cluster of Queretaro, and Aerospace Cluster of Chihuahua.
The presentation highlighted Bell’s history in addition to both Bell’s commercial and military products, with a particular highlight on the V-280. Bell México, located in Chihuahua, México, recently celebrated its 15-year operational anniversary. The site has engineering, quality assurance, and special process capabilities such as tool fabrication or heat treatment, supporting Bell’s Commercial portfolio including the Bell 505, 407, 429 and 412.
“A heartfelt thank you to Luis M. Azúa, general manager of Bell México, for his insightful presentation on Bell and its impact on the Mexican Aerospace Industry. His detailed exploration of Bell's contributions to the sector provided invaluable insights and was incredibly enriching for all attendees,” said a student attendee.
Bell remains committed to contributing to the discourse on advancing aerospace innovation and is proud to have been represented at Altitude Congress. Luis concluded his presentation with a firm belief that the students at Altitude Congress were not only inspired but left with a fervent excitement for the future of the aerospace industry.
