Japan's First Designer Series Bell 429 Helicopter Sold to Japan General Aviation Service Group

Fort Worth, Texas (March 11, 2024) – Bell Textron Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced a signed purchase agreement for Japan’s first Designer Series Bell 429 helicopter to Japan General Aviation Service (JGAS). JGAS is a leading Japanese aerospace organization offering aircraft sales and aftermarket support services.

After delivery, Japan Biz Aviation Co. Ltd. (JBZ), a subsidiary of JGAS, will utilize the Bell 429 to provide corporate relocation and other services in Japan. This will be the second Bell helicopter operated by JBZ.

The Bell 429 has proven popular among corporate, emergency medical and law enforcement customers worldwide by offering a smooth and comfortable flight experience with best-in-class cabin space in its aircraft class. Over 450 Bell 429s operate globally, accumulating over 602,000 flight hours to date.
