Bell 429 Saran Savunma ve Havcilik Helicopters Reach 95% Operational Availability Rate

Istanbul Air Show, Turkey (October 6, 2016) – Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, is delighted to announce that the Bell 429 fleets of Saran Savunma ve Havacilik have reached  95% operational Availability Rates whilst continuing to successfully provide training and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) throughout the country.

Turkey has been a very successful market for Bell Helicopter with 25 Bell 429s performing parapublic, EMS, and corporate missions in Turkey every day. Bell Helicopter has recently delivered seven Bell 429s to the Swedish National Police, four Bell 429s to the New York Police Department, and two Bell 429s to the Slovakian Police.
