The Bell 429 is used all over the world to perform lifesaving missions in some of the harshest environments.
San Juan Province Government’s Aviation Department in Argentina (DPA SAN JUAN) operates a sole Bell 429 that provides EMS, search-and-rescue, police support and other public services to a population exceeding 750,000 and whose location is 80% inhabited by treacherous mountainous terrain.
“On a daily occurrence we are facing a myriad of factors serving our region including, weather, viable access to locations because of the difficult terrain, and quickly getting to locations across the vast area,” said Mario Aubone, Director of DPA SAN JUAN. “This is where our operation of the Bell 429 has taken those factors and eliminated or lessened their magnitude. Regardless of the weather conditions we can count on the Bell 429 to provide hot and high performance; regardless of the difficult location we are trying to reach the Bell 429’s advanced fully integrated glass flight deck gets us to where we need to be; and then regardless of distance, the Bell 429’s speed and endurance has us answer the call in a timely manner.”

Thinking above and beyond is what we do. For more than 85 years, we’ve been reimagining the experience of flight – and where it can take us.
We are pioneers. We were the first to break the sound barrier and to certify a commercial helicopter. We were a part of NASA’s first lunar mission and brought advanced tiltrotor systems to market. Today, we’re defining the future of advanced air mobility.
Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas – as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Textron Inc., – we have strategic locations around the globe. And with nearly one quarter of our workforce having served, helping our military achieve their missions is a passion of ours.
Above all, our breakthrough innovations deliver exceptional experiences to our customers. Efficiently. Reliably. And always, with safety at the forefront.
