贝尔与加拿大大使馆合作开展气候变化主旨研讨

普及直升机在应急和消防领域的关键作用以应对气候变化带来的环境挑战

中国·广州(2024年3月18日)—— 针对气候变化带来的挑战,贝尔近期与加拿大驻华大使馆合作举办了一系列 “携手应对气候变化——中加应急救援能力建设研讨会”主题研讨活动。该活动旨在促进气候适应合作,并普及介绍通用航空飞机在气候变化引起的环境问题中能够起到的关键作用。 

加拿大驻广州副总领事Anthony Finch对于此次合作表示认可。目前,贝尔所有民用直升机均在加拿大魁北克省米拉贝尔市生产。Finch表示,应对气候变化所携的各类挑战已成为中加两国的优先议题。同时,调动社会民营企业参与应对气候挑战,并发挥民营企业的专业优势贵为重要。

研讨会期间,贝尔介绍了公司在直升机应急管理和野火消防领域的专业经验,并讨论了气候变化大背景下自然灾害频发的应对之策。 

在直升机应急和消防等公共安全领域,贝尔拥有悠久行业经验。1946年,贝尔生产交付了世界上第一架公共安全直升机。今天,贝尔拥有北美最大的公共安全机队;在全球范围内,目前共有超过2200架贝尔直升机用于公共安全类任务。

贝尔公共安全经理 Terence Miyauchi 表示:“贝尔的直升机产品在全球的公共安全领域内发挥着关键作用,对此我们感到自豪。在过去的89年里,贝尔在应急和消防领域中发挥着关键的作用。当下,我们不断迭代垂直起降的关键技术,以应对气候变化带来的全新挑战。我们承诺为该领域的关键任务提供不可或缺的安全支持和突破性的创新技术。” 

Miyauchi 在美国政府机构和各类商业组织中积累了超过7000小时的飞行和指挥经验,在公共安全领域,Miyauchi拥有超过三十年的专业积累。 

Miyauchi介绍,目前美国拥有超过900架直升机用于公共安全任务;而在中国,目前约有70 架公共安全类直升机。Miyauchi认为,中美之间的对比凸显了中国公共安全类直升机的关键增长机会,该领域的发展不但将会助力环境挑战,并且还会创造大量的就业机会。 

贝尔直升机在全球范围内广泛用于公共安全类任务,其中主要包括贝尔407GXi、贝尔429和斯巴鲁贝尔412EPX等。斯巴鲁贝尔412EPX是公共安全领域内的明星机型。该机最大内载达到了12200磅,外载13000磅,其货钩可挂载5000磅货品。辅以其丰富的机载设备,斯巴鲁贝尔412EPX可执行各类任务以应对气候挑战。
